Robert Parker White, age 45 passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014. He was born on June 13, 1969 in Chattanooga, TN to Linda de la Cruz and Jack White Jr. Robert has been a long time resident of El Paso, TX. He is survived by his parents: Tony and Linda de la Cruz of El Paso, TX and Jack and Debbie White of Ringgold, GA. He has 4 beautiful children: Christabelle, Harrison, Allison and Robert White Jr.; sisters: Norma Gonzales of Rowlett, TX, Gloria Banda of El Paso, TX, Kristy Barbee of Ringgold, GA, Sondra Lockhart of Ringgold, GA and Bridget Asher of Ringgold GA. He has six nieces and two nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Jack E. White Sr. and grandmother: Betty White of Chattanooga, TN.

Robert graduated from Coronado High School in 1987. He attended El Paso Community College where he was actively involved in the Student Body. Robert was eventually elected as the President of the El Paso Young Democrats. He later graduated with a degree in Special Education from the University of Texas at El Paso. In 2004, he earned his Masters in Education from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Robert's career as a Constable for Precinct 1 spanned 18 years. In 1996, he was first elected as Constable and won re-election in 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012. He graduated from the El Paso Community College Law Enforcement Training Academy and has completed numerous state-sanctioned law enforcement courses. He has been honored, and has received many awards since becoming a Constable. Recently, he was inducted into the El Paso County Democratic Hall of Fame.

Robert had a passion for education. He taught for 18 years. He was a special education teacher before he transitioned into coaching Physical Education at Putnam Elementary School. He also had a passion for acting. He participated in small roles with local films, such as his most recent work in the web series "Save Me" and "The Low-Life's".

Robert was a devoted Catholic. He loved many things that included protecting and serving his community, spending time with his children, family and friends, teaching, politics, Chihuahua's baseball, the Dallas Cowboys, golfing and watching the El Paso skyline.
