Glenna Brady

August 29, 1925 ~ July 20, 2016

OGDEN - Glenna Brady, 90, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away on July 20, 2016 surrounded with love from her family.

Glenna was born on August 29, 1925 in Elwood, Utah to Mildred and Owen Beck. On October 5, 1943 she was married to Othuel "Odie" Brady in Salt Lake City.

She worked hard her whole life while raising five children, retiring at 76 only when the company she worked for closed. She was a great role model to her children, inspiring all with her work ethic and loving parenting style.

Glenna will be remembered most for her kindness. She was selfless and generous, always thinking of others needs instead of her own. To the end, you could see her loving sweetness shining through her bright blue eyes.

She was a master at crocheting and expert at word puzzles. But her biggest joy came from just being with her family.

Glenna is survived by two daughters, Claudia Sherman (Ralph), Irvine, CA, Marcy (Gary) Keyes, Ogden; and one son, Mike (Rose) Brady, Ogden. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, one brother, two sons, and one granddaughter.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Community Nursing Service for the in-home hospice care they gave Glenna. Because of Andrea and the other care givers, Glenna's journey through her last days was made peaceful and love filled. She loved you all very much.

Family and friends may call at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden on Tuesday July 26, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
