Cassie Lynn Baker-Mulder, 27, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
Cassie was born in Layton, UT on April 9, 1987, the daughter of Jeffrey Alan and Teresa Lynn Zamora Baker.
She was baptized at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Layton by Father Pernell in 1987 and was working towards her confirmation in the Catholic Church. Cassie was a CNA for many years and was passionate about her work. Cassie graduated from North Ridge High with honors in 2005. She attended Weber State University to pursue her nursing career. She loved her family but the loves of her life were her two beautiful girls. She was a Daddy’s Girl (his little Tootsie) and her Mommy was her best friend. She loved and admired her uncles.
Cassie started dance classes at three years of age and continued through high school. Some of her fondest memories were of those days. Cassie loved to go fishing with her dad and also her nana and papa. One of her idols was Kelly King and for graduation she flew to New York to see Kelly perform. They were dear friends. Thanks Kelly.
She is survived by her husband Joshua Mulder, daughters Zaylee Mulder and Starlee Baker, parents Jeffrey and Teresa Baker, step-father Brent Beck, grandparents Allen and Shirley Byrd, brother Clint Baker, and sister Tiffany Trujillo. Preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Dixie Zamora, great-grandma Lily Trujillo and aunt Susan Romero.
